Tmausfilms was created upon a year after Monique Jacobs moved to Los Angeles. Having come across many closed doors, attempting to direct her written material she decided to take matters in her own hands and began producing a few short films. She followed those with a 30 min Horror/Thriller "Big Bear Park" where she met Special Make Up Effects Artist Dave Afahning, a frequent collaborator whom she worked with on several video shoots and short films over the years.

Tmausfilms is influenced by Early 70's European Cinema, Bob Dylan, Dario Argento, B- Horror film, classic silent films, music, and life itself. They are drawn to projects that deal with the human condition, character driven story's that talk about issue's that are kept silent, and old-school Horror films. Most of all, they are interested in exploring life, various cultures, as well as creating a stage for artists to challenge their craft.

Monique Jacobs:
Monique was about the age of 12 when she found the passion for writing & learned early on that words can not only give her broken soul a voice but others who are not heard. Some years later she boarded a plane to Hollywood with no less than 200 dollars in her pocket and a suitcase full of dreams.

Dave Afahning
Dave grew up in St. Louis. Heavily influenced by Horror Films, he quickly learned to master special make up effects, mostly scaring his friends & family with his model of blood covered fingers. He quickly found work upon moving to Los Angeles some years ago and has since worked on several projects. He is currently developing the Horror web Series "Broken Hope".
